Face painting

The boys went with aunt Wendi and Nana Sharrin to the Days of '47 float preview party at the South Towne Center. They had a great time checking out all the floats and getting their face painted.

Ice cream eating contest

The boys participated in an ice cream eating contest. They had so much fun! Brenner and Drew competed in the 6-8 year old group and had to eat their bowl of ice cream without using their hands. Cameron competed in the 13-17 year age group and had to eat as much ice cream as possible in 3 minutes. Cameron took 2nd place! He won 2 movie passes and 3 hours at Gaming Pulse (an arcade). Even little Dalin particpated and had a great time, although he left in tears sad because he wanted more ice cream.

Summer fun at Boondocks!

We had a great time in Salt Lake City! We went swimming in Tim's pool on the 4th of July and watched the fireworks. We went to Raging Waters and had a blast! Our favorite was going to Boondocks. Everyone enjoyed playing miniture golf, laser tag, playing all the video games, driving the race cars and getting all wet in the bumper boats! It was a great trip!

THE GREAT FLOOD

So we went out of town on vacation and while we were gone a water line burst and flooded our basement with water and MUD! We have spent every waking moment of the last two days cleaning up and still have a lot left to do. Seeing that our basement serves as our storage area, I have decided to get rid of the cardboard boxes and will only use plastic containers from here on out.

Papa's puppies - June 17, 2008

Brenner, Drew, Dalin and I traveled to Salt Lake City to spend some time with family and friends. Papa breed's German Shorthair Pointers and one of his dog's just had a litter of pups -- 10 puppies in all! The boys have had such a good time with the puppies and are convinced we need to take one (or more) home with us.

Field Day - May 28, 2008

The kids had field day with the elementary school. They had fun going to different stations and doing lots of fun activities. Their favorite, of course, was the one hosted by the fire department.

Memorial Day Picnic

I got home from L.A. in time to have a picnic with the family and our LDS Ward at the park. It was a cold day. Very windy and scattered rain showers. But we had a great time playing on the playground, playing baseball, and visiting with friends.
